First works

I wanted to practice a bit of digital art on my free time and found that the redstart warbler that we found was the best subject to start off with. The class is pen and paper, so this was just practice and you can see that coloring, especially in my gumbo limbo, is a suit I need and aim to strengthen with pen and paper. Scientific name: Bursera Simoruba Scientific name: Setophaga ruticilla

First impressions

The Audubon course is very exciting for me. I haven't created art in a long time, and I've always been fascinated by anatomical structure in plants and animals. Given the context of having attended two classes so far, I'm most excited to expand my ability in coloring in an accurate and alluring way. I have a long way to go but I suspect my ability will be notably impacted through the practice and observation demanded by this class.
